STAP細胞研究の経緯ー１

 

「小保方の研究力と洞察力」

 

 

 

分化培養中に培養液を新鮮なものに交換をするなどの細胞の世話を怠ると、

 

細胞が分化して形態が変化する前に細胞が死滅してしまう。

 

 

 

プレゼンテーションを行った冬から夏になるまで、

 

培養庫の中は分化誘導実験の培養皿で埋め尽くされた。

 

 

 

連日、

研究室のメンバーと細胞の形態変化を報告しあい、

分担して染色していく作業を行い、

 

 

 

スフェア由来の細胞が三胚葉系すべての細胞種に分化できる能力を有している証拠を得た。ー図

"Obokata's research ability and insight"

 

 

If care of the cells is neglected, such as by replacing the culture medium with fresh one during differentiation culture,

 

 

the cells will die before they differentiate and change morphology.

 

 

From the winter when the presentation was made until summer,

 

the culture room was filled with culture dishes for differentiation induction experiments.

 

 

Every day,

 

I reported the morphological changes of the cells to the members of my lab,

 

and shared the work of staining them,

 

and obtained evidence that the cells derived from the spheres have the ability to differentiate into all three germ layer cell types. - Figure
